This academic back ground combined with a practical approach places her in an ideal position to understand how best to ease your aches and pains, and communicate her understanding to you.
Jane has many years of experience working with people in pain. She has an easy, friendly manner yet wastes no time in getting on with the job of helping you to feel better as soon as possible. Her hands have a highly developed sense of palpation and a remarkable ability to ‘hit the spot’. Ann is delighted to bring the benefits of osteopathy to the community – be it for babies, children, the elderly or any one in between.
She utilises a broad range of osteopathic techniques including Cranial Osteopathy and gentle joint and soft tissue manipulation, selecting the most appropriate approach according to the needs and preferences of the individual.
She particularly enjoys the reward of seeing babies who were previously struggling with a variety of digestive issues including colic become happy and content after a course of treatment.
Prior to qualifying as an osteopath Ann spent a number of years working as a Personal Trainer and as an exercise specialist for the NHS on cardiac rehabilitation and fall prevention programs across Buckinghamshire.
In 2010, after 5 years of rigorous training, Ann achieved an honours degree in Osteopathy from the College of Osteopaths in London. She joined Jane at Hands on Health in 2013.
